The Villa is a rather grand five-bedroom villa presiding over the ricefields of Canggu minutes from the surf beach of Canggu and the famous Hotel Tugu. Acclaimed international architect Glenn Parker had his hand in the design – a modern take on the symmetry of traditional Balinese architecture that spells luxury in every detail. Indonesian hardwood floors, Indian sandstone and Italian travertine provide the canvas for stunning antiques, artefacts and textiles from across the Indonesian archipelago, such as the glass-topped canoe serving as a statement buffet table that references the villas name, Everything is over-sized for optimum sociability and comfort, from the huge sofas in the living room to the dining table that seats 20, to the river stone bathtub where two can soak with room to spare.

The proportions of the double-height living room find a match in the generously sized bedroom suites – all with supremely comfortable beds, plush decor and ricefield-view terraces.
